Description
Abstract
The railroad track coverage was created to represent railroads in Waupaca County. The railroad tracks were derived from the May 1994 flight with a flight height of 10,000 feet.
Purpose
Railroad track data provides consultants, planners, resource managers and other county staff with information on the location of active and inactive railroad lines within Waupaca County.

Process step 1
Process description: Aerial Data Reduction Associates, Inc (ADR) used fully analytic stereoplotters for direct capturing of digital stereo data for railroad trail centerlines from the 1994 1"=1,700' scale ortho photography. The planimetric mapping was built to meet all National Map Accuacy Standards for a map scale of 1"=200'.

Horizontal positional accuracy
Relative horizontal positional accuracy for the placement of the railroad track centerlines is dependent upon the 1994 orthophotos. The orthophotos are based on a 1"=1,700' scale flight that produced 1"=200' scale digital orthophotos, with a 2' pixel size.
